Truro, N.S. (June 30, 2022) – The Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) has released the regular season schedule for the 2022-23 season. The league’s twelve teams will return to a 52-game, balanced schedule. Teams will play eight games against each of their divisional opponents and two games against each of the teams in the opposite division. The top four teams in each division will qualify for the Canadian Tire Cup Playoffs.
WEEKS CRUSHERS SCHEDULE CAN BE VIEWED HERE
The season begins on Thursday, September 15th with an Eastlink South Division showcase as the Pictou County Weeks Crushers host the Amherst Ramblers and the defending Eastlink South Division champion Truro Bearcats visit the South Shore Lumberjacks. The last day of the regular season is Saturday, March 11th where all twelve teams will be in action in divisional matchups. The reigning Canadian Tire Cup champion Summerside Western Capitals play their first home game on Saturday, October 8th.

Eastlink will also carry the first two rounds of the 2022 MHL Entry Draft on Friday, July 15th starting at 7 p.m. on channels 10 and 610 in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.
