PICTOU COUNTYS HOME TEAM

Crushers name new Assistant Coach

Pictou County – The Weeks Junior A Crushers Hockey Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Tyler Noseworthy as Assistant Coach for the 2019-2020 Season. Noseworthy is no stranger to The Crushers as he was a member of the 2008 Fred Page Cup Championship team. He played two full seasons in Pictou County and split one season between the Crushers and the Victoriaville Tigres of the QMHJL.

Following his time in Pictou County, Tyler made stops in South Shore (MHL) and Dauphin (MJHL) before making his pro hockey debut with the Danbury Whalers (FHL). After four seasons of pro hockey which ended in Sydney, Australia, Tyler returned to Halifax where he has been coaching with the Cole Harbour Major Bantam team for the last number of seasons.

“I’m very excited to be apart of this team again. This is where my junior hockey career began, and it seems very fitting for Pictou to be where I start my junior coaching career. This place was always very special to me and I’m excited to do whatever I can to help this team bring home another championship.”

Crushers GM Chad McDavid says that Noseworthy is a welcomed addition to the Staff. “Tyler’s passion for the game and his experiences as a player will be very beneficial to our group. He’s won as a Crusher and he knows the expectations that we set as an organization.”

The Crushers get underway with Training Camp on Sunday, August 25th at the Pictou County Wellness Centre. For more information on Camp, be sure to follow the Crushers on Facebook and twitter and on the web at www.weekscrushershockey.com
