Adam Chipman, #12 for the Pictou County Weeks Crushers beats the Halifax Lions’ goaltender Kody Blois with the power play game winner to put the Crushers up 3-1 as captain Geoff Hum is ready for the rebound. The Crushers dominated the Lions 7-2 in Game 5 of the best of seven Bent Division semi final series Sunday night at the John Brother MacDonald Stadium in New Glasgow and with the winnow lead the series 3-2. Mathieu Boudreau led the Crushers with two goals and one assist while Chipman and Dan Joyce both added a pair each. Chipman was also the Game’s First Star while Boudreau was Second Star and Weeks goalie Justin Collier was named Third Star. Weeks outshot the Lions 42-37. Game 6 takes place Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm in Halifax.
